About the event
Hats on - this is how we called our costumed, slightly ironic, slightly erotic evening at Bohouse a few days before Purim, where all guests are required to wear hats and masks!
Note: this event is in Russian language.
Program:
- Biologist Ivan Kvasov with a short, frivolous lecture on a serious topic about the History of Contraception from the Stone Age to the present day.
- Shibari expert and rigger Ded Mazai - for a strong and aesthetic connection. He will demonstrate Shibari - Japanese art of bondage using ropes on the human body.
- Body-artist Diana Yanvareva will paint on you in her special way, that your friends won't recognize you.
- Steampunk-styled masks, hats, corsets and jewelry, will be available to purchase from the artists Olga Yerushalmy and Ksenia Nazarov. If you don't have a hat or mask for this evening, you can order them in advance from us.
- Olga Yerushalmy will also accompany you and show her solo exhibition As Is, which recently opened in the BoHouse exhibition hall.
- You will have a great opportunity to make cool photos in our “secret” room, painted by the graffiti artist Ana Kogan, where the three-dimensional world turns into the illusion of an impressionist painting.
- As always, there will be wine and a free buffet with delicious food. We will also showcase BoHouse interior design made by us and our permanent art collection, including new pieces, works by photo-artist Dina Bova and other artists.
